- Please provide a short bio:1. Hello, everyone! We are Hole in the Frame, a crossover metal band originally from southern
Italy. Currently, the band members live in different Regions of Italy.
2. We formed as a band about ten years ago, but many of us know each other since childhood. We’ve had always the idea of creating something together.
3. The basic idea for our songs comes from what surrounds us and inspires our art: books we read, concerts we attend, and the journeys we take. Usually, it’s our bassist who comes up with ideas for new songs.
4. People who know us say our music is full of energy. I believe even those listening to us for the first time would agree!
- Definitely Italian music from the 80s!!
- We don’t have any particular pre-show rituals. Usually, we relax with a good glass of
beer or whiskey.
7. We’ve attended several great live shows recently that has inspired us, including Metallica, Testament, Lacuna Coil and Muse.
8. One of our biggest achievements, in our opinion, is consistently producing new materials over time.
9. There’s no magic formula. A song has to be genuine and has to come from the artist’s heart.
10. We’re never really sure when a song is finished, but at some point, we have to call it done.
- One of our signature songs is “Resist,” which we play at the end of every concert.
- I don’t think so.
- We prefer writing at home, where we have peace and quiet.
- What happens on tour stays on tour.

17. Hole in the Frame was born in Molise, a small region in southern Italy. The idea was to create quality music with influences from various genres. We’ve released three studio albums and one live album. Currently, we’re looking for new stages to perform on while working on our fourth album.
