While She Sleeps and Bury Tomorrow brought their 2025 North American Tour to Beer City Music Hall in Oklahoma City. They had special guests Vended along with them. The bands played to a packed house.

The night started off with the Des Moines, IA band Vended. Vended is comprised of vocalist – Griffin Taylor, drummer – Simon Crahan, bassist – Jeremiah Pugh, lead guitarist – Cole Espeland, and rhythm guitarist – Connor Grodzicki. From the moment Vended stormed the stage, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a passive show. Barely one song in and the frontman barked, “I wanna see a pit on the second song!” — and the crowd obeyed like it was gospel. A girl tied her hair back in a quick ponytail, eyes wild with anticipation, and dove straight into the chaos.

Their sound hit like a brick wall — a violent mix of screams and melodic interludes that somehow felt both controlled and completely unhinged. The small stage strained under the weight of their presence, but they didn’t seem to notice. Or care. There was a perpetual pit in the middle, like a whirlpool of bodies constantly feeding on the band’s relentless energy.

You can’t fake this kind of intensity. Only kids this young — full of fury, hunger, and something to prove — could give this much energy from the first note to the last. Vended didn’t just play a set; they unleashed something primal.

It was loud, fast, messy, and absolutely electric. You don’t leave a Vended show the same way you walked in — you leave a believer.

Next up was the British metalcore band Bury Tomorrow from Southampton, Hampshire, England. Bury Tomorrow unleashed hell at Beer City in Oklahoma City last night, and from the first note, it was clear: this wasn’t just a show — it was a full-body experience. The band kicked things off with a thundering intro that vibrated every bone in your body, setting the tone for a night of relentless energy and emotional catharsis.

Hailing from England, Bury Tomorrow delivered a masterclass in modern metalcore. Their dual vocal attack — the harsh, guttural growls of frontman Daniel Winter-Bates paired with the soaring clean vocals— added layers of tension and melody that had the entire room locked in.

One of the most unique moments was the performance by the second singer, who wasn’t just backing vocals — he was hammering on toms and cymbals in between screams, giving the show an intense, primal heartbeat that shook the tiny venue’s foundation.

Midway through the chaos, Daniel paused to interact with the crowd and noticed two kids up front. “How old are you?” he asked. “10!” they shouted. Without missing a beat, he grinned and roared, “These two are giving more than 100% up here!” The crowd erupted — and the band fed off that energy for the rest of the set.

They tore through tracks like “Choke,” “Cannibal,” “The Grey (VIXI),” and the crushing “Black Flame” with surgical precision. Every breakdown was a gut-punch, every chorus a cathartic release. Even in a venue as raw and no-frills as Beer City, Bury Tomorrow made it feel massive.

They didn’t just perform — they connected, they raged, and they reminded everyone why they’re one of the most respected forces in UK metalcore.

The final band for the night was Sheffield, England’s While She Sleeps. While She Sleeps stormed the stage, delivering a thunderous set of UK-made metalcore that instantly ignited the crowd. Fresh off the energy left behind by Bury Tomorrow, the fans showed no signs of slowing down—bouncing, screaming, and surging forward as frontman Lawrence “Loz” Taylor commanded the chaos.

From the first note, fists and horns were raised high, the pit exploded into life, and the entire venue felt electric with energy. It wasn’t just aggression though—there were heartfelt moments too, as Loz took time to encourage everyone to hug their friends and family, a touching reminder of the community that music builds. The crowd even hit the floor at one point, waiting for Loz’s signal before erupting into a massive, synchronized jump.

Cellphones lit up the venue during some of the more emotional tracks, while the pit and waves of crowd surfers kept the adrenaline high. While She Sleeps gave the fans exactly what they came for!!
